Poems, short stories and songs are welcome as well! wow! GOD MIRACLE!!! have to mention it! I just had cataract surgery done on my eyes, and wellll.. the docs all said it was impossible for me to ever have 20/20 vision, since i never had it before and had a birth defect with my eyes. He said that i would never be able to see as good as some people and that he could never get me to 20/20, and that is was absolutely impossible. I said never say never, and just prayed about it, knowing that anything is possible to God. and well... I went in to see him today, and he was astonished, I have 20/20 in the eye i just had done and 20/15 (which is better than 20/20) in my other eye i did two weeks ago! He was baffled, and said that I sure made him look like a liar! So no matter what, do not believe someone when they say something is impossible for it's untrue. Things are only impossible when you make them that way. If you think that something will never happen than chances are it wont. God can't help you if you wont let him help. He wants you to come to Him for help, and He will always be there, you just have to remember it. If you come to Him with an open heart, humbly, all things in Jesus' name are possible. All things are made possible by Jesus! You hear people talking about what God has done for them, and how they have asked for something from God and have gotten it. You say "Yeah right. That isn't true, that wont happen to me, maybe it's coincidence.." There is no coincidences my friend. Jesus said Himself! In John 14:13-14, Jesus says Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.If you truely love God, and you ask God to help you in the name of Jesus, He will give it to you! He sure answered my prayers when i prayed for my eyes! So much so that the doctor's couldn't believe it. Praise God! I hope this touches your hearts. It has sure touched my own. Spread the word that God is good! Amen!

There is more amazing things that God has done, but I thought I would relay this one to you.
I was babysitting one night when the little girl offered me one of those chocolate milkshakes in a carton thingies, you know what i mean? Well anyways, I had drank one before and gotten really sick afterwards but I had put it past me then just thinking it was because it was hot out that day. So instead of refusing, I accepted the milkshake and drank it. Not even half way through it I started getting this major pounding in my head, sharp sharp pains, I tried to sit up but i was so dizzy all of a sudden i couldnt even support myself, then I started to feel really sick.. REALLY sick. I ran as fast as i could to the bathroom with out fainting and falling from my dizziness and lunged myself over the toilet like i was going to be sick, Then right away I prayed to God to please heal me because I cant be this sick when im babysitting. All of a sudden I stood up, the sharp pains were gone, the dizziness was isntantly gone and I didnt feel a hint of sickness to my stomach! I felt perfectly fine! I ran out of the bathroom and told the little girl right away about what God can do!! And this is just a little thing He can do. Believe me.

May 23rd to the 25th, a few of us ladies, mostly from City Heights Church in Dartmouth, attended a weekend retreat at Malagash Bible Camp.
This was a time of refreshing, healing, learning, and just having fun.
Our guest speaker, Elaine Passey from Heartbeat Ministries, spoke on different topics such as destiny & identity, rejection, ungodly belief systems, and forgiveness. The Holy Spirit used her to speak in different ways to the ladies attending.
Besides the speaking sessions, we were well fed by the Malagash staff, had praise and worship time (led by our own Cheryl Young, whom God has blessed with a beautiful voice), played games, and had free time to walk on the beach or do whatever to just relax.
Although advertised as camping, because of the need to bring a sleeping bag, we were actually given cabins with bunk beds for accomodations, complete with heat and showers. The sleeping bags are just for linen for the beds.
So if any ladies are looking for some time to relax, to discover in quiet surroundings what Jesus wants to heal, or even just a chance to escape the everyday, then the weekend retreat is just the thing. I'll be posting next year's retreat on Ashley's website as soon as I know the date.

Well, Thought I would share an amazing story for you about God's wonderous power. No, This isnt made up,I know the family of this person, nor is it exaggerated, God can do amazing things. This man, he was diagnosed with cancer, a tumor attached to his stomach, last year or the year before, and this cancer was growing rapidly. Around the summer last year, he went to his doctor, the doctor told him
that he would only have until december to live for the tumor was getting so large and spreading that soon it would just take over. By February, He was still hanging on, barely however, he was forced to lay down all day for the pain so so bad and the tumor had grown and spread very much, his family and friends new he was going to go at any moment. Friends and family started a prayer chain at their church and soon they had quite a few people praying for him that somehow God could heal his cancer and make him well again, though it may seem ridiculous since he was so far along, remember, God can do anything. Not even a month later, he went to see the doctor, and the doctor(s) was/were baffled! The cancer was completely gone!!! The tumor had totally dissapeared and there was no sign of cancer in his body whatsoever. John 14 13-14 13 "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. Praise God!!
This is the 2nd time im writing this coz the first time didnt go through and it was sooooo long!
GOD, The true weatherman!
God can answer all prayers, have true faith and he will answer!
#1. Blomidon. June 20th-22nd It was said it would rain all weekend on the weather station, up until as far as thursday night, it still said rain all weekend. Now we couldnt have rain all weekend coz it was camp! We wanted to play outside of course! So we prayed and prayed for sun and heat up until we left the next day, Friday. And on friday.. It was BEAUTIFUL! HOT HOT HOT. God gave us that sun! whoohoo
#2. Vacation Bible school Aug 18-22. It has never rained on VBS and just like every year, Brian who was incharge of games, planned all of his games outside, they were all water games too. The weather said it was to rain all week, be yucky and cooled off so we prayed to God to give us the sun and warm weather. That Monday, it was drizzling out and people were getting a little frazzled that we wouldnt get good weather like it had said. But I prayed right then and there outside that God would take the drizzle away and give us sun and warmth. Not even 5 minutes later, the clouds started to move away and the sun pushed its way through and it was gorgeous all week!
#3. Dewolfe Park, Bedford, Christian Concert, Aug. 24th.
It started to rain at the concert and we couldnt have that because if it was raining, the equipment (amps, guitars, drums, etc) would get ruined because there was no roof over them. So I closed my eyes and prayed to God that He gave us awesome weather at VBS and Blomidon so i knew He could and would do it now. I had the utmost faith that He would deliver. Then I heard Josh Smith, a close friend, who is in the band that was playing at the time, 'In Him' say ".. and thank God for the sun!" I opened my eyes, and the sun started to push its way through the clouds and the rain/drizzle had stopped! Whoo hoo!
Trust God and He will deliver!
